My 2009 desk calendar
Mar. 14th, 2009 04:01 pmYears ago I bought a desk calendar that used a CD case that folds back far enough to make a nice stand. I loved this style and bought them for a couple of years, until they suddenly disappeared. I was bereft. But then I realized that since I had the special case/stand (3 of them, to be exact), I could create my own desk calendars with my own pictures (albeit with a little more work than making a decision, but hey).
And so I have done every year since. This year I was feeling pressed for time at the end of the year, so I quickly selected pictures for January and February, just to get me that far. I have only now finished the selection for the rest of the year, having used February for March so far (convenient how that works out). So one of these pictures is not like the others, because I didn't come up with my theme until afterwards (no points for guessing, because it's not that hard to figure out). The first two photos are ones I took, the rest are
magscanner 's fine work.
