roasted cauliflower, yum
Feb. 12th, 2009 09:28 pmRoasted romanesco cauliflower, the fractal one, to be specific. There is something utterly addictive about that almost but not quite burnt flavor. Olive oil, salt, and about 40 minutes at 400 degrees, that's all it takes.
On the health front: much better, still not well. Voice is back but ragged. Pockets of sinus infection still holding out ("Remember the Alamo!" I hear them yelling). Morning euphoria at having a good night's sleep (over 6 hours!) gave way to an afternoon slump. But overall, an improvement. Trying to hit the right balance of doing and not overdoing.
