What Is So Rare...
Jan. 11th, 2009 06:21 pmWhat is so rare as a summer day in . . . January?!
Okay, so it didn't get up to the mid-70s as predicted, but even the mid-60s was pretty nice. We took advantage of the weather by going for a hike at Los Trancos Open Space Preserve, a really beautiful hike along the San Andreas Fault (really). Then we headed home to throw open the windows and doors, to let the 65 degree air into the 55 degree house.
I finished my bean harvest and clean up, then made a very fine shelly bean chowder. Yum.
