My sunshine

Sun, we had sun today! It's been raining almost every day for the past 2 weeks, but it was full on, blue sky, sunny today. So I spent several hours outside weeding, pruning, culling, and chopping. Bolting lettuces, arugula, and broccoflower are compost now. I even moved a rose bush. By a few inches. All right, maybe an entire foot. Somehow, when I planted it last summer, I totally failed to center it in the space allocated. All fixed now.

The reward for this effort was a very pleasant dinner at a Malaysian restaurant, Baba Neo, with alanro, after which we took him to the airport. (With only a small bookstore stop in between.
