Training Mules and Donkeys
Mar. 2nd, 2006 02:04 pmOn a whim, I recorded an episode (can you believe there's more than one?!) of "Training Mules and Donkeys". The subtitle of which turns out to be: "A Logical Approach to Longears".
This particular episode was less about training than about the making of an animated feature based on a book written by the show presenter (who has written many serious manuals on training mules and donkeys). It's called "Jasper: The Story of a Mule". How original.
But the bouncy theme music slayed us:
Who's the mule who's always cool?
It's Jasper, Jasper!
Who's the mule who's no one's fool?
It's Jasper, Jasper!
etc.
Then the narration starts: "Jasper romped playfully through the lush green grass, bouncing butterflies off his nose..."
In short, we were amused. (However, we stopped watching after five minutes.)
