About the time when the Porco DVD became available, there was a theatrical showing of it (I think it was in double feature with Nausicaa). And who should we run into there, but davidlevine and kateyule.
D.O.Stiers was the guest speaker at the showing, and he told us about the experience! It was great, except for the large quantity of audience members who seemed surprised that he'd been in Beauty and the Beast! I guess I'm more of an obsessive animation fan than I realized.
