It's raining! Not only that, it's raining and I'm still wearing a sleeveless dress. In California terms, this is Very Weird. Rain = cold, usually. But we're having unsettled weather, much to my delight. Though scant lightning and thunder, much to my disappointment.
We had our neighbors over for dinner tonight, and I made several experimental dishes. I feel so lucky to have such interesting, well-read, politically aware, and simpatico neighbors. We get along fine with all of our neighbors, but these are the only ones we regularly socialize with.
On the home front, I revamped the wine inventory, adding in the many bottles of wine that were sitting around outside the wine cellar to the inventory, then placing them inside the cellar. Then I placed an order for more modular wine racks which we assembled yesterday, with no casualties and nary a cross word between us. Woohoo! All of the wine has a home now, with room to spare.
