Happy day 7
Dec. 18th, 2008 11:31 pmI made quail for dinner tonight.
This is happy on several levels. First, they had been in the freezer far too long, so I'm happy to get them rotated out of there. Second, it was a chance to try a new recipe, always a happy for me. Third, they tasted great. They hadn't been damaged by their long sojourn in the freezer and the recipe worked well.
I see that some people are posting one happy item every day for X number of days, whereas other people are posting Y number of happy items on day Y of the series. Yeah, I can see how the latter makes sense. I probably picked the meme up from someone who hadn't spelled out the whole thing. But I'm going to stick with the one happy per day anyhow. So sue me.
