That strange sound
Oct. 2nd, 2007 05:01 pmSomething in my office was beeping briefly every 3 minutes (I timed it). Very mysterious. The sound was so brief, I couldn't track where it was coming from.
It turned out it was the cordless phone. It was sufficiently cradled to not be considered off the hook, but not cradled enough to be charging. The mystery was solved when I received a phone call and the phone beeped in my ear. Ha!
