Photo sharing
Sep. 21st, 2007 10:18 pmI'm looking for a way to easily share photos. Here's what's on my wishlist:
1. I want to be able to give photos captions and have the captions be displayed in slideshow mode. I'd prefer to keep the name the same as the boring and undescriptive autonumber name from the camera. If the name wasn't displayed at all, just the caption, that would be fine with me.
2. I'd like to be able to reorder the photos, not have them stuck in some alphabetic or as they were loaded order.
3. I'd like an easy to use slideshow. I dislike Flickr's slideshow -- seems very slow and unresponsive.
4. Free, lots of storage, easy to upload, yeah, all of that would be nice too.

voidampersand's photos display, but I'm not ready to buy into the whole iLife thing. What experimenting I've done with iPhoto, I haven't much liked and it's not clear if I could upload to it some other way.
Edit: As I said toholyoutlaw, what I want to do is put up vacation pictures and be able to tell people what they're looking at. Sometimes pictures speak for themselves, but not always.
