Music ids

Okay, we identified the TV theme music used in tonight's first Simpson episode as the Odd Couple (and it was strangely appropriate for the spy riff, wasn't it?). But we're stuck on the sample in episode two, the schmaltzy music that played while Kent was putting away his photographs. magscanner thinks it was a popular song; I think it was a TV show theme song, but not a show I watched very often. Who figured it out?
