All summer in a weekend

Last week we had highs in the mid-60s. This week we have highs in the mid-60s. But Friday through Saturday we set records by hitting the high 80s every day! All summer in a weekend, as I say. There must be some major fronts duking it out over our heads (high winds yesterday and today too). I basked in the warmth.

It worked out perfectly for planting too -- 3 days for the soil to warm up nicely, then back to reasonable temps for setting out plants. My peppers, basils, and summer squash are all in the ground now.
